City Managers

Job Description :

The City Manager oversees all day to day operations of a city or cities including, but not limited to, Building Managers, Carpenters, HVAC technicians and Office Managers.  The City Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of these individuals. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws.  Works directly with the Human Resources Manager to interview, hire and train employees so as to always be fully staffed.  Plans, assigns and directs and follows up on all work.  Conducts annual performance evaluations.  Addresses client complaints/concerns and resolves problems utilizing good judgment and common sense.  Responsible for the creation of the scope of work needed and the management of capital projects including tenant alterations.  Works directly with and supervises Account Executive(s).  Manages income and expenses in order to stay on budget; approves invoices and complete management variance reports.  Works directly with Sub Contractors and negotiates all contracts.  The City Manager is responsible for all tenant/client relationships and oversees and insures that customer service is maintained at the highest level.  It is imperative that this position is filled with someone that has a high level of comfort in dealing with problems head on, is very organized, understands contract administration, understands what the directive is,  can follow orders, and can improvise to attain satisfactory end results. This position reports directly to the President.  Salary range is $55 -$75,000 along with single health coverage and 401(k) plan.
