COLUMBUS
SHORT-TERM PARKING OPTIONS:
1. Valet Parking at 88 E. Broad St. (614.221.3888 or visit www.park88valet.com)
Clients can purchase validation stickers from the valet service that can be used to cover the short term parking needs of your office visitors or clients when they need to stop at the office for an hour or two before they would be going to a meeting outside the office or to the Courthouse. The rates are as follows:
0 - 1 hour - 1 sticker
1 - 2 hour - 2 stickers
2 or more hours - 3 stickers
A sheet of stickers costs $40 and contains 10 validation stickers.
2. City of Columbus Parking Card (614.645.6400)
This parking card is purchased from the City of Columbus. You load the card with the amount of money that you desire. Insert the card into any parking meter, convenient to your office and/or the courthouse, and the meter deducts $.25 for each 10 minutes of time you require. Most of the nearby meters have a 2 hour limit.
3. Central Parking Ticket Stamping Program (614. 224.1320)
Client arranges with Central Parking for an account at the lot located at 3rd & Gay Street. Any of your customers can then use this lot for their short term needs. When they park their car, they receive a ticket. The visitor then has the ticket is stamped at the client's office and returns this ticket to the parking attendant to retrieve their car. At the end of each month Central Parking bills client for the parking they have used. The rates are as follows:
0 - 15 minutes - $1.00
16 - 30 minutes - $2.00
31 - 45 minutes - $3.00
46 - 60 minutes - $4.00
Each additional 1/2 hour costs $1.00
$20 a day maximum
4. Court House Parking
A monthly parking pass can be purchased from Central Parking. This pass reserves a parking space for client in Central Parking's Lot at the corner of 3rd & Mound Street, one short block from the Courthouse. Visitors would then utilize the client's reserved spot in this lot and displays the reserved parking ticket.
The cost is $100 per month, per reserved spot.
