The Historic Law and Finance Building at 85 E. Gay St., was built in 1927 as the home of the Ohio State Savings Association. The Law and Finance Building was a one-of-a-kind architectural feat because it used a new (at the time) cast exterior stone material called Litholite. The building also features brass on both the exterior and the lobby. It also was said to have the heaviest vault door in the city which still exists today.
